Why the name Rivendell?

To paraphrase from: ‘The Lord of the Rings’

Our Garden

A breathtaking garden surrounds our home. It fills nearly half an acre, with well-established rhododendrons, hundreds of roses, and an abundance of trees, including feature willows and maples.

It provides a delightful mix of both native and exotic plants.

If you're feeling more energetic, you can head through a gate on our boundary into the reserve land adjoining the Ashley River. From here, it's an easy seven-minute stroll along the willow-lined Ashley to the wide sandy sweep of Pegasus Bay, where the fresh sea breeze is sure to invigorate you.

There is also an outdoor spa pool where you can relax after an enjoyable day exploring our region.
