Jan has worked as an Occupational Therapist with many years experience in both physical and psychiatric settings. She has completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Health Sciences (Mental Health).
A night consists of the hours from 2pm and includes 3 meals per day. A half day is up until 2pm. The only exception for this, is if you wish to bring and cook your own meals. Tea, coffee, milo, milk for drinks, cooking oil, pots etc. provided.

A modern, spacious, well-insulated home but with the high ceilings and lovely plaster work of a bygone era.
We offer four north facing spacious rooms, all of which open through sliding doors onto our picturesque garden.
Each bedroom has its own queen sized bed, plenty of warm bedding, heater and television. Two bedrooms share a large bathroom, while the other has its own large ensuite and a small separate room suitable for any accompanying child(ren).
Drinks and snacks are supplied in your room for your convenience. Breakfast is available from the dining room until 9.30 and can be taken back to your room if you wish.
If you have any specific dietary needs please let us know pre-arrival.
Also available are: the Press, a wide range of books, magazines, jigsaws, and an in-ground spa pool.
This is our biggest room and catches the morning sun superbly. This suite, with its queen-size bed, is served by its own dressing room and huge ensuite, with all facilities including a bath.
It has glass sliding doors from both the bedroom and ensuite, opening to the garden.
The Maple room, on the north side of the house, enjoys sun for much of the day. It also has a glass sliding door which opens on to the garden. This handsome room has a queen bed, built-in wardrobe, and dresser.
It shares a spacious bathroom across the hallway, with the following rooms.
Also on the north side of the house, is the Lavender room, also fitted out with a queen-size bed, built-in robe, and dresser. Like the Maple suite, its sliding door opens on to the garden and the room enjoys sun for much of the day.It is just a couple of steps to the bathroom, with its wheelchair-access shower.
