Jan has worked as an Occupational Therapist with many years experience in both physical and psychiatric settings. She has completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Health Sciences (Mental Health).

Keith has his own business in Christchurch. Matthew and Stuart live at home and lead busy lives.

The rest of the family consists of a turtle called 'T four two' and a small, non allergenic dog called 'Storm'.

We are a Christian family, so welcome all to our home, on an equal basis.

Rivendell Respite

Rivendell Respite Care in Canterbury is a comfortable family home. A short distance from the Ashley River and Waikuku beach, just 35 min from Christchurch.

As our guest you will find plenty to do, or as little as you wish. Outside there are many restful garden spots where you can sit and relax. Alternatively inside we have the Press, a wide range of books and magazines, DVDs, table games and puzzle books. We also have a spa pool which is used during warmer months.

The neach is within 20 minutes walk and it takes about 30 minutes walk to the nearest dairy.

More information about local activities and places of interest can be found in the entrance way to our home. Feel free to join the Le Roi family downstairs for meals and company, or relax in your own separate living space.
